Dr. Ian Orellana-Jordan
Dr. Ian is an eager and compassionate general dentist who is here to bring a healthier and happier smile to you. Upon completing a Bachelor of Science degree with a specialization at the University of Alberta, he returned to South Africa to complete his dental degree.
After a year as a military dentist, he went on to private practice in Cape Town before making his way back to Canada in 2017. Since then, he has worked in and around Edmonton, with a particular affinity for family-based dentistry at Devon Dental Associates over the last 4 years.
Outside of dentistry
Clarinda Orellana-Jordan RDH
Clarinda is a registered dental hygienist (RDH) who qualified in South Africa with her husband, Dr Ian, in 2011. Since then, she has been able to explore qualifications in interior design while completing the arduous examinations needed to register in Canada.
She is proud to call Edmonton her home and is passionate about empowering patients to improve their oral health and, consequently, their overall health through comfortable, thorough, and technology-forward cleanings.
Outside of dentistry
Always up for a chat about interior design and a little yoga session.
Dr Ian and his wife, Clarinda, are now eager to move into ownership where they will incorporate the latest technology for dental cleanings (GBT) in the hopes of bringing greater comfort and oral health to all their patients.
In the long term, their goals are to provide a legacy in the community they live in through the support of local events, the health of their patients, and the well-being of their staff.
